The Staff of 2012
Kinneret Head Staff
Program Director:
Hi Campers, Parents and Staff. My name is Lorne Rembach. I am proud to say that I am the Program Director for the summer of 2012! I am extremely excited for this summer!
Our staff members have already begun working on programs and activities for this coming summer. This summer our staff are focusing on creating age appropriate activities and programs for our campers to develop skills, friendships and promote self-identity.
Camp Kinneret is such a special place where everyone should feel comfortable. I’ve been lucky to be a part of the Camp Kinneret family for fourteen years! I was a camper from 1999 until 2004. Following two summers: one at Camp Biluim and another in Israel, I began working as a counsellor. This will be my sixth summer working at Camp Kinneret.
When I’m not at camp, I live in Toronto where I am studying to complete a Masters in Teaching at the University of Toronto. I’ve already begun teaching practices in middle school! Working on my Masters has been very exciting, but I still find myself thinking and talking about camp every single day. After every day I subtract one day from my countdown, until finally camp starts again. I can't imagine being anywhere else during the summer. I can easily say that all of my best memories are from Camp Kinneret, and my hope and vision is that this summer will be no different.
If you have any questions about the upcoming summer, or camp in general, please do not hesitate to contact me. Looking forward to seeing you this summer!

Assistant Program Director:
Hey Camp Kinneret, long time no see! My name is Daniel Herman and it is with great pleasure that I will be your Assistant Program Director this summer! This will be my 12th summer at a summer camp, and my 3rd at Camp Kinneret. My camper history includes Camp Shalom, Camp Solelim, Camp Biluim and Biluim Israel. I began as staffing at Kinneret in 2008, and eventually at Biluim. Now I'm back to Kinneret and happier than ever. If there is one thing I have learned from all these camps, it's that people keep coming back to Kinneret for a reason, and I am no exception. While most 22 year olds are looking for jobs in their field for summer, I could not pass up the opportunity to spend another summer at the best place on earth! When not counting the days until the summer, I study Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. Once I graduate this year, I plan on pursuing a graduate degree in Physical Therapy. This summer will without a doubt be the most amazing summer ever at Camp Kinneret. I can't wait to see you all there!

Gib/Gosh Unit Head:
Hey everyone!
My name is Katie Goldig, and I am so excited to be working as Gib/Gosh Unit Head this summer!!
It will be my 8th summer at CKB and I can't wait for the summer of
2012! I started going to camp when I was 12 years old and every
summer just keeps getting better and better! During the year I
study Psychology (Major) at McGill University with Minors in
Behavioural Science and Anthropology. I also work with Guy to create
all of the year-round events for the campers. Since I am always so busy,
knowing that I'll be at camp soon is what keeps me going. It is such an
honour to work at camp every year and it truly feels like home. Kinneret
is such a huge part of my life and I am so happy to be working with the
Gib Gosh unit this year!

Kochot Unit Head:
Hey everyone! My name is Michael Rembach but you can call me Miky. I am both excited and proud to be entering this summer as Kochot Unit Head. Since first stepping off the bus in 2002, I have continued to call Camp Kinneret home. Somehow every summer seems to outdo the last and I simply cannot imagine spending my time anywhere other than camp. 2012 will mark my third summer in the Kochot Unit and my first as Unit Head! While not at camp, I study at Ryerson University, where I am completing my Bachelor’s of Commerce with a major in Information Technology. With the first day of camp approaching, I hope that you are looking forward to it as I am. This summer will be the BSE and the Kochot unit will be unlike any other.

LIT Unit Head:
Hi Camp Kinneret! My name is Dalia Witkowski and I’m thrilled to be LIT unit head for the summer of 2012. Kinneret has been my home since I was 10 years old and I can’t imagine spending my summers anywhere else. This year will mark my fifth as a staff member and my thirteenth at CKB. Somehow each summer seems to be better than the last and I know that this year will be no exception. While I spend the year studying at McGill University towards a Bachelor of Commerce in psychology, I am constantly thinking about camp and planning new ways to make the upcoming summer an incredible one. I know I’m not alone when I say I can’t wait to be back with the Kinneret family up in Mont Tremblant. Shira, Rikud, Ra’ad Hayom and Chugim are just around the corner!

Waterfront Director:
Hello Camp Kinneret! My name is Tomer Ben-Zvi and I can't wait to spend yet
another summer as your Waterfront Director. 2012 marks my 2nd year as Waterfront Director,
before which I spent 4 years as Tripper, and 3 as a Waterfront Specialist. If there's one thing I have learnt
in my 8 years here as staff, it is that every summer keeps getting better, and
there is no better place to experience it! Outside of camp, I recently finished my Bachelor of Computer Science at Concordia, and I am also an avid
rock climber. I jump on any chance to travel the world and climb in unbelievable
locations. Looking forward to a great summer. See you soon!!!
